Soooo much has happened over the last month and however long since I've last posted! It would be impossible to cover more than the big stuff. I won't even try. Thankfully there's lots of big stuff! In particular, BLAKE GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE. Which is kind of a huge deal to us. We threw a pretty big party. I will do a whole post on the party one day, with the hope that anyone who wants to throw a vintage disaster/survival/preparedness party in the future will actually have a resource to turn to in the future. Apparently it's not a very common theme- Pinterest had nothing for me. In other news, Rad turned one. We celebrated our Sunshine Baby's first trip around the sun with an outer space party! Oh, and a week before that Blake turned thirty (bacon potluck party), and a week after Rad's party Rory turned four (dancing party). I am kind of over parties. Seriously, I spent years (off and on) planning Blake's graduation party and months of contemplation went into the logistics of the birthdays too; hooray for no more immediate family birthdays until October!!!!!

But graduation was really cool because our great connection (Blake's dad) got us seats on the ground level instead of the stands in the dome. We got VIP snacks, pictures with the university president, and the kids got to run around! |
